Privacy by Design for All

Team KU HACKLAB developed Consent Copilot for PDPA Hackathon 2026, organized by PDPC under the theme “Privacy by Design for All.”

What the team built

A Chrome extension that uses AI to summarize consent notices, Terms of Service (ToS), and Terms of Use (ToU). Users can adjust their privacy concerns and use traceable highlights to see which original passages support each part of a summary.

My contribution

I designed the AI pipeline, integrated it with the Chrome extension, and delivered the pitch. I also contributed to the solution’s development and project documentation.

Team results

Team KU HACKLAB won 2nd Runner-up (third place), a Prime Minister’s honorary plaque, medals, and a team prize of THB 40,000.

This was a team effort with Tanawat Chuthaphiromporn, Kittipoom Suttilert, Theerawit Waithayawan, and Pornchai Wannasuk.
